Aaliyah Dana Haughton and Aarti Mann
Aaliyah Haughton was famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it was later renamed Gold. This collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and helped put her onto the scene. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her album, One In A Million, that included the top-selling song If Your Girl only knew. With the success of this album, Aaliyah received international recognition for her work as an R&B singer. Aaliyah was a part of the legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romance film. Joel Silver, film producer and director of Romeo Must Die spotted her at an award ceremony. In 2002 she had the opportunity to appear in the film vampire Queen of the Damned which was inspired by the Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels was her first appearance in The Matrix Sequels. She was also as a character in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions (2007). The singer had four Grammy nominations in 1999 2001 2002 and 2003. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is the first generation Indian-American born and raised in Connecticut. Mann is a contraction of her marriage final name Mankad. Aarti is both Aarti and Aarti. Majumdar. While she started out with tiny film and television parts, her acting career began to gain momentum around the middle of 2000s. Her other notable projects include Grey's Anatomy, Suits and Leverage. The actress has been featured in a variety of commercials for Volvo's international automobile manufacturer. She continues her acting career at Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband and daughter.
