Aaliyah Haughton was famous after 1994 when she debuted her debut album Age Ain't Nothing but a number. She was only 15 at when the album was released and it was later renamed Gold. This collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and helped put her onto the scene. In 1996, she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her album, One In A Million, that included the top-selling song If Your Girl only knew. With the success of this album, Aaliyah received international recognition for her work as an R&B singer. Aaliyah was a part of the legendary martial artist Jet-Li in Romeo Must Die (2000) which was an action-packed romance film.
